Heritage Hall in Grundy is located in the serene, picturesque Appalachian Plateau of southwest Virginia. The rolling country side abounds in natural beauty, and the mountain heritage is invigorating. The only long term care facility in Buchanan County, we enjoy the pace of small town America and share the values of our culture with our neighbors. In an effort to meet the care giving needs of our community, we provide both skilled, intermediate nursing care, and short term rehabilitation.
We take pride in providing for the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each resident. Respite care, short term rehabilitation, whirlpool therapy, physical therapy, hospice care, dietary planning, beauty/barber shop, and a full calendar of social events are just a few services that we routinely provide. For residents requiring dialysis, lab work, or emergency services, we are conveniently located near Buchanan General Hospital.
Physicians, licensed nurses, and certified nursing assistants are experienced and dedicated to providing routine or complicated medical care for each individual. We take pride in the commitment of the community. The Mountain Mission Schoool, which has attained international fame, as well as the Appalachian School of Law, provides some of the very involved volunteers who visit the center on a regular basis.
